Town Downhill 2018

Yesterday’s Day I Town Downhill re-cap via our friends at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Traditionally, the annual locals race event is held at the beloved Snow King- The Town of Jackson’s ‘Town Hill’ and home to the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club. Due to trying snow, specifically race, conditions this year, the event was moved to JHMR as the gracious temporary host. Nonetheless, skies, course and conditions prove ideal – read on from the following clip from JHMR’s BLOG:

“The 36th Annual Fish Creek Excavation Town Downhill – Mini Hahnenkamm kicked off today in Teton Village for the first time ever. Skies cleared and racers were greeted with a ripping fast course down the Crags run and Moran. Local legends came out of the woodwork for a chance to race for the first time on the new Crags run. Racers approached nearly 70 miles per hour weaving their way through the gates. The course was smooth and fast with a descent amount of air off of the pro bump at the top of Moran Face.”

Smooth and Fast
