The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort reported on January 14th that ten-and-a-half feet of snow fell on its slopes during the first two weeks of January alone, marking a record-setting beginning to 2020. Whether you’ve made first tram throughout the inaugural storm cycle of the year, or are just settling in for the holiday week—there is no better place to be than Teton Village during the height of ski season.

The start of the new year brings a hot bed of new listing activity within the highly sought-after Granite Ridge subdivision of Teton Village—with listings among its Lodges, Homesteads and Timbers neighborhoods.

Granite Ridge’s location within Teton Village provides year-round access to some of the best of Jackson Hole. Located just uphill from the Four Seasons Resort & Residences, 3193 W. Washakie represents the first Granite Ridge Lodge to hit the market in two years according to listing broker Barbara Allen. “The Granite Ridge Lodges are as good as it gets at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for the person wanting superior access, and the feeling of a single family home but without the maintenance,” said Allen. The home is offered furnished for turn-key ease of ownership, and the neighborhood’s HOA handles plowing and maintains the yard.

3193 Washakie Road represents the only home currently available among the Granite Ridge Lodges.

The Lodge  is located within a ski-in/ski-out neighborhood, and grants access to the ski resort’s terrain via Lower Teewinot and a private slope.

The freestanding home provides 4,251 square feet of living space and features plenty of room for family and friends alike within four large bedrooms comprised of a master suite, two junior suites, and a fourth bedroom outfitted as a bunk room. Multiple living spaces and a gourmet kitchen make the home ideally suited to entertaining, while two decks and a patio provide additional opportunities for enjoyment. Its position within the resort overlay allows for short- term rentals as an investment property or when not in residence.

Also infrequently available, a Granite Ridge Homestead recently entered the market on Granite Loop Road. The open floor plan of the 3,317 square foot home features an updated kitchen adjoining a spacious great room. Cathedral ceilings further open up the living and entertaining space. Large pines provide natural screening and privacy for the home, while lush landscaping and a new deck enhance the property after the snow has retreated for the season. The home is in immaculate condition and needs to be seen to truly be appreciated.

The end of Garnet Road provides an ideal location for a Timbers townhome whose south-facing views extend over Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Views to the west from the home’s expansive windows include Jackson Peak. “Being on the front line of Granite Ridge, views from the home are more robust than active offerings and recent sales,” according to Fred Harness, who represents the property for Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty.

A south-facing Granite Ridge Timbers townhome features incredible views of the legendary Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

The three bedroom, three-and-a-half bath floor plan, designed by Carney Logan Burke, features a timeless appeal with rustic contemporary influences throughout. Warm wood tones and flat stone accents unify the home amidst its mountain surroundings, while “the open CLB design offers a nice, modern feel with a ton of natural light,” says Harness.

Granite Ridge’s 80-acre position on the rolling hills of the northern boundary of Teton Village provides an ideal balance of accessibility and wooded privacy among mature stands of spruce, fir and aspen. In addition to its unparalleled access to the skiing, dining and amenities of the resort, Granite Ridge is only moments away from the neighboring Granite Canyon entrance station to Grand Teton National Park for access to the park and the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve during the snow-free months of May to November.
