New Restaurants in Jackson Hole

The restaurant scene in Jackson Hole has always had plenty to offer for people of all appetites, but with the opening of several new eateries this winter, it’s only going to get more difficult deciding where to dine. With a few of the openings from already established places around town, you can be sure that the service and quality will be at a premium. Here’s a quick look at some of the new offerings:

From the team at Café Genevieve, comes Orsetto,  an upscale take on classic East Coast American-Italian cuisine. Pasta and sauces are made in house and have an excellent wine list to accompany them. The beautiful bar is reason enough to check it out. Visit them at 161 Center St.

Another new Italian joint is in the old Nani’s space (at 242 Glenwood St.) is Glorietta, in the Anvil Hotel.  The menu reflect a rustic, ingredient driven ethos. Local ingredients are used when available and a there is an emphasis on items cooked in cast iron as well as a wood fired grill.

If you yearn for the days when Teton Village still had places like the Village Cafe, then you’ll be happy to hear that Cutty’s has come to the rescue. The team behind Cutty’s has opened Malaka’s in the old space of The Village Cafe and is already filling a hunger for apres ski bites and drinks. They are offering the same great pizza from Cutty’s in town, along with their renowned cheese steak, a meatball sub and a chicken Parm sandwich.

If BBQ is what you are after, then you’ll be happy to hear about Moe’s. Moe’s is a small chain, serving up traditional, Southern barbecue in a family friendly environment with quick service and good value. The food is a mix of Alabama-style barbecue and Southern sides like collard greens, macaroni and cheese and fried pickles. Find them at 140 N. Cache
